Refurbishment of Kimbolton Primary School’s Main Hall

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The school had the hall built two years previously however the finish to the cladding had not been executed properly which resulted in the wood stain to chip off and blister.

The ABL painting team had to sand the entire cladding back to the bare wood which took a week before coating it in a micro porous all-in-one protection paint.

Allowing the wood to be able to breathe through the paint preventing blistering and cracking to reoccur.

The headmaster looked for the best quote from local businesses and for the work to be completed during the summer holidays which was achievable for us.
